Nate Phillips are representing the Arizona football program at this week's Pac-12 Football Media Days. The two-day event kicks off Thursday morning at 9 a.m. (MST/PDT) and concludes Friday afternoon.
Pac-12 Networks is providing live coverage of both media days on site from Hollywood & Highland. The head coach and two players from all 12 teams will visit the Pac-12 Football Media Day Special set, spread across two days. Various columnists and conference luminaries also will be featured in the broadcasts. In addition all 7 Pac-12 Networks, Pac-12 Football Media Day Special will be available for fans to watch on the Pac-12 Now app and on Pac-12.com.
The trio of Wildcat representatives participate in traditional media day activities Thursday morning, including a gauntlet of radio, television and print interviews. Rodriguez will appear live on the Pac-12 Networks at 10:31 a.m., while the two student-athletes will be on live at 10:44 a.m.
On Friday, Arizona's contingent will spend several hours for studio-style interviews, including with ESPN, FOX, CBS and Pac-12 Networks before returning to Tucson.
Rodriguez is entering his fifth season as head coach of the Wildcats. He has guided the program to four-consecutive bowl games for the first time in school history and the school's 33 victories in that span are also program record.
Fuimaono has been a mainstay along the defensive line the last two seasons and is expected to assume a large leadership role in a re-built defensive unit under first-year coordinator
Marcel Yates.
Phillips, a receiver, has a pass reception in 34-consecutive games played. The Chandler, Ariz., product has 120 receptions for 1,532 yards and 13 touchdowns in his three-year career.
