Cats In Recovery:
It's mid-way through the 2018 season and Arizona is battling through injuries. Last week while competing against Stanford, freshman
Payton Bellows went down during her floor routine with an injury to her Achilles. Bellows will not return to the Arizona lineup this season, but will return in spring of 2019. Freshman
Laura Leigh Horton is also on the sideline with an injury to her foot and hand that she sustained in practice, she will return in Spring of 2019 as well.
Sophomore
Jenny Leung is still battling through a sprained ankle, she will likely return to the Arizona lineup in 2-3 weeks.
"We never want any athlete to get hurt," said head coach
John Court. "They're both incredible young women, and we will support them through their recoveries with every resource available. We look forward to seeing them back on the floor for the 2019 season."
