Cats Fall to No. 11 Oregon State

CORVALLIS, Ore. – This week Arizona gymnastics traveled north to compete against Oregon State and lost with a final score of 145.325 to 197.300.

"Was today perfect? No. Did we still accomplish our goals? Absolutely." said head coach John Court. "Victoria Ortiz hitting her new dismount on bars was huge for us today, and Heather Swanson, while she didn't compete on bars, still warmed up and was looking good. Being able to getĀ Haylie Hendrickson on floor was also a high, once we have her final pass ready she's probably going to be consistent competitorĀ on floor. We even earned our highest beam event score today, so despite the circumstances I am pleased with how today went. Now we're moving forward and getting ready to take on ASU next week."Ā
