TUCSON, Ariz. – The University of Arizona Sports Hall of Fame Selection Committee has chosen nine individuals for induction into the University of Arizona Sports Hall of Fame. The selected individuals represent six different sports and will be inducted at a formal ceremony and dinner on Friday, Aug. 31. The inductees will also be recognized during an on-field presentation at halftime of the football home opener against BYU on Saturday, Sept. 1. Â
