TUCSON, Ariz. – Laura Larson has been selected to the Pac-12 All-Academic first team, commissioner Larry Scott announced on Wednesday.

Larson, a junior from Lakeville, Minn., has a 3.95 GPA while majoring in molecular and cellular biology. Larson's 3.95 GPA in second highest in the conference of qualified players (must have appeared in at least 50 percent of matches).

The libero is able to excel in the classroom as well as on the court as she has anchored one of the conference's best floor defenses in 2015. Entering the final two matches of the regular season, Larson has recorded double-digit digs in 13 consecutive matches. Overall, the junior averages 3.20 digs/set while also contributing 0.69 assists/set, both figures second on the team.

This marks the second straight season on the first team for Larson.

In addition to Larson's first-team citation, Elizabeth Inch, McKenzie Jacobson and Kalei Mau were named honorable mention. Jacobson's mention is her second in as many years.
