TUCSON, Ariz. – The University of Arizona Track & Field program is set to host the 2015 Winter All-Comers Meet on Sat., Dec. 12 at Roy P. Drachman Stadium starting at 9:30 a.m. MST.
Arizona's athletes will be divided in to three teams through a draft process: the Red Team, the Blue Team and the White Team. The Blue Team has won the past three seasons and will look to defend their title once again after winning a shortened meet in 2014.
It is an All-Comers meet and walk-up registration is available for a fee of $5. Registration begins at 8 a.m. MST and the field events begin at 9:30 a.m. MST with the running events starting at 10 a.m. MST. This is not an official meet; therefore the marks set by the student-athletes will not count towards NCAA qualifying marks.
The team reps for the Blue Team are Aaron Castle, Pau Tonnesen, Jasper Gray, Lizzie Smith and Molly Callahan. The team reps for the Red Team are Harrison Ivie, Nnenya Hailey, Kate Penney, Pete Lauderdale and Cody Dalton. The White Team's reps will be Bryce Houston, Traci-Lynn Hicks, Clay Cashman, Addi Zerrenner and Alyssa Thompson.
The field events include the hammer throw, pole vault, long jump, high jump, shot put, javelin, triple jump and discus throw. The running events include the 4x100m relay, the 60m high hurdles, the 60m dash, the 1K, the 150m sprint, the 600m run, the 300m run, the 3K and the 4x300m relay.
