TUCSON, Ariz.--- The University of Arizona baseball program is set to host a special alumni meet and greet on Jan. 30 at 10:30 am MST out at Hi Corbett Field. The event will include either a home run derby or alumni game featuring some of the most prominent faces in Arizona baseball history with an autograph signing to follow. Admission to the event is free of charge.

Former Wildcat greats will be in attendance to participate in the event, with the full list to be announced at a later date. The list will include former and recently retired legendary Wildcat head coach Andy Lopez, who will be honored before the home run derby or game. Lopez compiled an overall record of 1,177-742-7 to go along with two national championships in 33 years of coaching, with the most recent coming with Arizona in 2012. He was also a three-time National Coach of the Year (1992, 1996, 2012).

The autograph session will begin approximately at noon after the alumni competition, where fans will have the chance to obtain autographs from both former and current Wildcats. Fans will be allowed to bring one item to be signed.

After the conclusion of the autograph session, the fun-filled day of baseball will continue, as the 2016 team will participate in a nine-inning intraquad game, which is also open to the public.

During the event, fans will get their first chance to purchase single-game tickets for the upcoming season, which otherwise won't be available until a later date.

Arizona's four national championship teams (1976, 1980, 1986, 2012) will be honored later that night at halftime of the Arizona men's basketball game. The Cats take on Oregon State at 7:30 pm MST inside McKale Center that night.

General Admission season tickets for the four-time national champions are currently available and start at just $115 for all 31 home contests, while packages are just $100 for senior citizens and youth (ages 3-12). To purchase log on to ArizonaWildcats.com/tickets, call 520-621-CATS, or visit us at the McKale Center Ticket Office  Monday-Friday from 9 am- 5pm MST.
