Track & Field Adds A Trio of Athletes During National Signing Period

Tucson, Ariz. – The Arizona Track and Field program added three members to the women's squad during the national signing period. Faimalie Sale, Skylar Sieben, and Judith Baxter Game will arrive in Tucson in the fall.
 
Here is a closer look at the trio of signees:
 
Faimalie Sale: Sale attends Los Alamitos High School in Los Alamitos, Calif. Sale competed in 19 shot put events in her junior year, never placing outside the top four finishers. Sale earned seven first place finishes and 15 top five finishes in the discus toss. The Los Alamitos product tossed a 45'11.5 mark to take second in the  2017 CIF State Championship.
 
Skylar Sieben: Sieben, from Calgary, Canada, scored a combined scored 5,020 points from the heptathlon at the Canadian Track and Field Championships, the highest by an Alberta youth since the national track and field championship was created in 1977.
 
Judith Baxter Game: A product from Grant High School in Portland, Ore., Game won the long jump USATF Oregon Association Junior Olympic Championship marking a 19'7. Game had not placed outside the top three finishers in eight long jump events, winning six. Game finished in third place in the USATF Region 13 Junior Olympic Championship triple jump contest with a 39'3.25 mark.
 
"I am very excited about the young ladies we brought into the Wildcat family during the early signing period," said head track and field coach Fred Harvey. "All three will have an immediate impact at the Pac-12 level, and within two seasons at the national level. Our staff did a great job at identifying our and signing the needs we had."
