How old were you when you started gymnastics?
I was 4 years old when I started gymnastics.
What is your favorite event and why?
My favorite event is bars because it is so different from the other three events.
What is fun and special about collegiate gymnastics?
The special part about collegiate gymnastics is that it is a team environment.
What made U of A stand out when you were being recruited?
A couple things that made U of A stand out to me when I was being recruited were the coaching staff, the girls, and the academics. I knew that if I came to U of A I would be allowed to pursue my major in biomedical engineering and still compete in gymnastics. Additionally, right off the bat I could tell that the gymnastics program here was very family oriented and that the coaches cared about you, not just as athletes but as a person as well. They are focuses on helping you grow not only as a gymnast but as an individual who will be successful in their life after college.
What is your dream job after college?
My dream job after college would be either in prosthetics or tissue engineering.
Do you have any siblings?
Yes, I have a twin special needs brother named James, and a younger sister named Charlotte who is currently attending the U of A as a freshman and she's working as our gymnastics team manager.
Who is your celebrity crush?
Chris Hemsworth
What is a hobby you have outside of gymnastics?
When I don't have school or gymnastics I enjoy going to the movies and hanging out with friends.
What is your favorite GymCat memory thus far?
My favorite GymCat memory thus far would have to be my first time competing in McKale Center. It was just such an exciting experience and a feeling that I will never forget.
