Cats Set to Take on Cal and Stanford on the Road

TUCSON, Ariz. - The Arizona Women's Tennis team will travel up North this weekend to take on Cal, Friday at 1:30 p.m. MST. and Stanford, Saturday at 12:00 p.m. MST.  

Gitte Heynemans and Sophia Thomas lead the way for the Wildcats best Singles records, as Heynemans is 8-1 and Thomas has yet to lose posting a perfect 5-0 record on the year. 

Thomas also has another streak going for her in Doubles play with her partner Emma Wilson. The two have won their last three matches including wins over the 13th and 16th ranked Doubles pairings from USC and UCLA.

Cal
The Golden Bears are coming off a road win against Oregon, and now hold a 6-3 record on the year including four of those wins coming on the road. Anna Bright, Olivia Hauger, and Julia Rosenqvist are all ranked in the top 70 for the latest ITA rankings for Women's Tennis. 

Stanford
Stanford has an 8-1 record on the year and is coming off a sweep in their first Pac-12 match against Oregon. The team has yet to lose at home on the year and has eight players that are ranked in the Top 125 of the latest ITA rankings.
