TUCSON, Ariz. -- In 2018, Alyssa Palomino-Cardoza received Arizona Softball's 100th All-America honor after a spectacular sophomore season. She led the Pac-12 with 19 home runs and a .750 slugging percentage and hit a team-best .363 last season and was named an NFCA first-team All-American.
Her follow-up is going even better. Palomino-Cardoza is hitting .378 with 11 doubles and 10 home runs this season while getting on-base at a .483 clip and slugging .816 through the first 31 games of 2019.
