All-America Honors
Arizona opened NCAA Championships with a twelfth-place finish in the 800 free relay. Jorge Iga, Brooks Fail, Daniel Namir, and David Schlicht earned All-American Honorable Mention with 6:15.07, a season-best.
The Cats began night two with an All-American Honorable Mention in the 200 free relay. Chatham Dobbs, Jorge Iga, Thomas Anderson, and Marin Ercegovic placed thirteenth with 1:17.18.
Brooks Fail earned bronze and All-American in the 500 free with 4:10.77, a personal best and second-fastest in school history.
David Schlicht finished fifteenth in the 200 IM with 1:42.99, earning All-American Honorable Mention.
In the 400 medley relay, the SwimCats earned All-American Honorable Mention with a fourteenth-place finish. Chatham Dobbs, Sam Iida, Noah Reid, and Jorge Iga posted 3:06.14.
Personal Bests
Jorge Iga's split in the 800 free relay of 1:32.62 is a personal-best and third-fastest in school history in the 200 free.
Sophomore Brooks Fail set a personal best in the 500 free with 4:10.77, earning a bronze medal and moving up to second-fastest in school history.
Season Bests
The 800 free relay team, consisting of Iga, Fail, Namir, and Schlicht earned All-American Honorable Mention with a season-best 6:15.07.
In prelims of the 400 medley relay, Dobbs, Matt Salerno, Reid, and Iga finished with a season-best 3:05.21 to earn a spot in the consolation final.
