TUCSON, Ariz. — As day seven of Arizona Football fall camp came and went, one theme from the early days of camp cemented itself: Special teams will be crucial to the Wildcats success in 2025.
Three key players in the special teams world — Special Teams Coordinator Craig Naivar, kicker/punter Michael Salgado-Medina, and long snapper Avery Salerno — took the stage post-practice to speak with the media about early returns from the third phase of the game.
Outside of the special teams realm, the Wildcats donned shells and enjoyed another sunny Tucson morning as their prep for the home opener on Aug. 30 rapidly approaches.
Transfer wide receiver Kris Hutson, who has impressed all camp, continued his streak of strong play with an acrobatic catch in 1-on-1 drills.
