Cats Camp: Welcome Back

By Arizona Athletics

TUCSON, Ariz. — As the Arizona Wildcats took the field for day five of fall camp on Monday, two familiar faces were in attendance. Running back Ismail Mahdi and linebacker Max Harris, both from last year's nine-win team, returned to the Tomey Practice Fields as they began the process of integrating into the program's preseason activities.

As the days count down to the home opener on Saturday, Sept. 5, the intensity continues to ramp up. Offensive flashes and defensive stops dot the afternoon with the depth chart still far from settled and returners and newcomers alike jockeying for postion.

Following a balmy two hours of practice, the defensive line unit joined the assembled media to talk about their unit.

Continue below to hear what they said and for more notes and quotes from day five of fall camp.

Quote of the Day

[Physicality is] the biggest thing in camp. You want to see relentless effort ... Those are the things we're always constantly grading, our effort but also our physicality at the point of attack.
