Cats Camp: Presidential Pump Up

TUCSON, Ariz. — Arizona Football had a special guest in attendance for day eight of fall camp: University President Suresh Garimella. After being gifted an autographed helmet by quarterback Noah Fifita, President Garimella delivered a speech to the team and brought a special energy to the remainder of practice.
That energy carried over into a spirited set of 1-on-1 and team sessions, highlighted by pinpoint throws and highlight reel catches. Perhaps the most impressive, and energetic, was an acrobatic catch by tight end Tyler Powell on a two-point conversion play that sparked an exuberant celebration.
Following practice, the Wildcats safeties took the stage to speak to the assembled media and provide updates on their unit.
