#BearDown

  • UA enters Sunday night's game looking for a 4-0 start in its sixth consecutive season. The Cats did not start 4-0 in the six seasons prior to their current streak.
  • Arizona is owner of the nation's longest active home winning streak in the nation at 41 consecutive wins. The current streak is the third longest in UA history, which includes 81 games (1945-51) and 71 games (1987-92). UA's top two streaks make it the only program in the nation with multiple home winning streaks in the top ten in all-time NCAA history. Included in the Wildcats' 41-game home winning streak is a 27-game non-conference home winning streak, the nation's sixth longest.
  • As of Saturday afternoon, KenPom.com Arizona ranked in the top 12 in the nation in both offensive efficiency (112.8 – 11th) and defensive efficiency (92.6 – 12th).
  • The Demons and Wildcats have never met before in the two programs' histories. It's the second consecutive first-ever match-up for UA after facing Boise State on Thursday for the first meeting ever. Arizona is 19-1 (.950) in first-ever head-to-head meetings under head coach Sean Miller.
  • Coach Miller and the Wildcats enter Sunday evening with 70 wins since the start of 2013-14 season. A 71st win for Arizona would tie Kentucky for the most wins in the nation during that span of 2+ seasons.
  • Ryan Anderson's 15 defensive rebounds against Boise State were the most by a UA player in a game since Ray Owes had 16 defensive boards against Houston on Dec. 8, 1994.
