Wildcats Top 10 Players in College Football 27

Ahead of the release of College Football 27 next month EA Sports has released the ratings for Arizona Football's top 10 players, which can be found below.

The Wildcats are led by quarterback Noah Fifita, who checks in as a 90 overall and as the No. 9 ranked quarterback in the game.

Rounding out the top three Arizona players are cornerback Jay'Vion Cole and linebacker Taye Brown, who return from last year's dominant defense to form the core of this year's unit.

Arizona's top 10 features eight returning players from last year's nine-win squad, alongside a pair of transfer portal additions who look to bolster the Wildcats roster this fall.

No. 1 — QB Noah Fifita (90 overall)

The nation's active career leader in passing touchdowns returns for his senior season to lead the Wildcats offense under second-year offensive coordinator Seth Doege. At launch, Fifita is the No. 9 rated quarterback in College Football 27. Over three-plus seasons in Tucson he has thrown for 73 touchdowns and 9,183 yards while adding 219 yards and four touchdowns with his legs.

Cole picked up Third Team All-Big 12 honors in his first season with the Wildcats, earned through his four interceptions, 23 tackles, and three tackles for loss. The experienced corner was a key contributor to an Arizona secondary that ranked among the best units in the nation last season.

Brown also picked up Third Team All-Big 12 honors last season after starting all 13 games for Arizona and tallying 93 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss, and 1.5 sacks. Twice last season he managed to tally multiple TFL in a game, and when the season was wrapped he had earned a 75.9 defensive grade from PFF.

No. 4 — DL Tre Smith (85 overall)

After being limited by injuries last season, Tre Smith returns for his third season with the Wildcats in 2026. Over the course of his collegiate career, Smith has tallied 148 tackles, 23.5 tackles for loss, and 14 sacks.

No. 5 — OL Tristan Bounds (84 overall)

Bounds enjoyed a breakout season in 2025, logging 628 snaps along the Arizona offensive line and posting a 72.3 PFF grade with an 80.3 mark in pass blocking. He is one of four Arizona offensive linemen returning for 2026 after logging starts in the trenches last year.

No. 6 — RB Kedrick Reescano (83 overall)

Reescano has logged time in 22 games across two seasons with the Wildcats while tallying 755 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns. A persistent scoring threat, Reescano found the end zone in seven different game last year, highlighted by a three-TD performance against Baylor.

No. 7 — RB Quincy Craig (82 overall)

Craig is the second of three running backs among the Wildcats top 10 players and earned his spot following a productive career at Portland State and a promising first campaign with Arizona in 2025. Craig's explosive game was on display against Kansas last year when he scored twice on just five touches and scored the game-winning touchdown.

No. 8 — OL Alexander Doost (82 overall)

Doost started all 13 games at right guard for the Wildcats last season, accumulating 878 snaps of experience along the way. With over 1,500 career snaps and a pair of 70+ PFF pass blocking grades under his belt, Doost looks to help anchor the Arizona offensive line this fall.

No. 9 — S Malcolm Hartzog (82 overall)

Hartzog joins the Wildcats secondary this season after four years at Nebraska where he logged time in 38 games. Across his collegiate career Hartzog has tallied 108 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, eight interceptions, and 13 pass breakups. The versatile defender was named Honorable Mention All-Big Ten as a junior in 2024.

No. 10 — RB Antwan Roberts (81 overall)

Roberts is the second of two transfers among the Wildcats top 10 players — he came to Tucson following three seasons at Marshall. While with the Thundering Herd, Roberts put up 523 rushing yards and four touchdowns.
