Junior (2019-20)
Karpovets brought home two titles early in the fall, winning the top bracket for singles and doubles in the Wildcat Invitational. Overall he finished with a 15-7 singles record, winning six of those in the spring season. Won 3 matches in the No. 1 doubles spot, two with Jonas Ziverts and one with Filip Malbasic.The 2019-2020 season was cut short due to COVID-19.

Sophomore (2018-19)
Finished the season 16-8 overall and 10-7 during the spring season ... Had six wins at the No. 3 spot and two each at the No. 1 and No. 2 ... Had some big wins against Texas Tech and Oregon, both ranked opponents ... Won five doubles matches alongside Jonas Ziverts at the No. 1 spot in the lineup ... Three of those five wins were against California, Washington and Utah.

Freshman (2017-2018)
Karpovets went 16-16 in singles competition his freshman year, compiling an 11-15 regular season record… He played on courts one (11-13) and two (0-2)… Compiled a 15-23 doubles record, tying himself for 10th all-time single season doubles victories… His 10-12 regular season doubles record ties him for 17th all-time single season spring doubles wins… Karpvets played most of his matches with Carlos Hassey going 11-16 overall and 6-5 in dual matches…. Named honorable mention All-Pac-12, the first Arizona freshman since 2006 to be named to the All-Conference Team….

High School:
Throughout his career, Karpovets has been nationally ranked No. 1 in the Under 18 Division and No. 10 in the Adult Division ... Internationally, Karpovets has been ranked as high as No. 152  in the International Tennis Federation Junior rankings.

Personal
Karpovets enjoys incorporating many hobbies into his academic and athletic lifestyle including riding bicycles and studying astronomy. 

Why Arizona?
"I chose Arizona because of the friendly people, loyal and very motivated coach and awesome team," said Karpovets. "I really like the University and I would love to improve my skills individually and help the team reach high heights as a program."
