One of Arizon's most outstanding coaches. His basketball teams were 511-322 from 1925-1961. Head football coach in 1931 (assisting from 1925-1930 and 1932-1946), and head golf coach from 1932- 1970. Was first Arizona coach to be inducted into the Helms Foundation Hall of Fame (1951). First basketball coach named to the Arizona Sports Hall of Fame in 1965.
