ALBQUERQUE--The Arizona women's tennis squad completed the second day of the Southwest Collegiate Invite in Albquerque, New Mexico, with a pair of wins in singles.
Sophomore Sarah Landsman defeated UTEP's Deluca 6-2, 6-1, and will take on Oregon's Smatova tomorrow at 10:30am.
Senior Ariane Masschelein defeated New Mexico's Villanueva 6-2, 6-4, and will go up against Oregon's Metzger tomorrow, also at 10:30am, and freshman Elizabeth Hammond lost to Oregon's du Toit 6-0, 6-1.
In doubles play, Masschelein and Landsman lost to Oregon's Smatova and Du Toit 8-5.
