W. Golf Slips at Pac-12/SEC Challenge

TUCSON -University of Arizona Wildcat women's golf slipped to 12th place on day two of competition at the Pac-12/SEC Challenge in Knoxville, Tenn. Hosted by the University of Tennessee, competition will wrap on Sunday at Holston Hills Country Club (par 72, 6,447 yards).

No. 22 Arizona holds a two-round total of 599 (+23) for 12th place. No. 6 Alabama leads the team race with a score of 573 (-3). No. 1 UCLA is in second place with a 578 (+2). No. 2 Auburn rounds out the top three with a 582 (+6). Nathalie Mansson of Tennessee and Stephanie Meadow of Alabama share the lead in the individual race with two-round totals of 139 (-5).

Junior Kyndall Ardoin and seniors Nikki Koller and Margarita Ramos were the Wildcats' top finishers in a 12-way tie for 37th place. They hold scores of 73 and 76 for a total of 149 (+5).

Senior Isabelle Boineau sits in a seven-way tie for 66th place with her carding of 77 and 75 for a two-day total of 152 (+8). Freshman Paige Spiranac rounded out the Arizona five in a four-way tie for 105th place. She collected scores of 83 and 78 for a total of 161 (+17).

Competition in Knoxville will resume at 10:30 a.m. CT on Sunday.
