Marks Advances to Semifinals of ITA Regionals

TUCSON, Ariz. -
Senior Wildcat Natasha Marks (Nottingham, England) advanced to the semifinals of the ITA Regional Tournament in San Diego, Calif. on Saturday. Marks defeated UCLA's Pamela Montez in straight sets for her fourth win of the tournament.
Sophomore Lacey Smyth (Oceanside, Calif.) began singles play, but withdrew from the tournament because of an injury.
In doubles play, sophomore Susan McRann (Dublin, Ireland) and freshman Hailey Johnson (San Diego, Calif.) fell to Hawaii's Pawid and Poljakova.
Marks will return to the court on Sunday, Oct. 23 to resume tournament action.
