Cats 10th After Day Two at PING/ASU

TUCSON - After day two of the PING/ASU Invitational, the University of Arizona Wildcat women's golf team sits in a tie for 10th place. Held at the ASU Karsten Golf Course (par 71, 6,099 yards) in Tempe, Ariz., competition will take place Fri.-Sun., March 30-April 1.

No. 1 UCLA leads the team race with a two-day score of 565 (-3). No. 31 Texas and No. 13 Texas A&M are tied for second with scores of 574 (+6). No. 19 Arizona sits in a two-way tie for 10th with daily rounds of 291 and 297 for a total of 588 (+20). Tiffany Lua of UCLA leads the individual race with rounds of 68 and 69 for a total of 137 (-5).

Freshman Manon Gidali continues to lead the Wildcats in a tie for 11th place. She has rounds of 68 and 75 for a total of 143 (+1). Senior Margarita Ramos sits in a tie for 26th place with a score of 146 (+4) and rounds of 72 and 74. Junior Kyndall Ardoin, playing as an individual, sits in a tie for 43rd place. She has rounds of 71 and 77 for a two-day total of 148 (+6).

Sitting in tied for 48th place, senior Isabelle Boineau fired scores of 75 and 74 for a two-round total of 149 (+7). Senior Nikki Koller collected rounds of 76 and 74 for a score of 150 (+8) and a tied for 57th-place finish. Freshman Andrea Vilarasau rounds out the Arizona five in a tied for 85th-place finish. She has a score of 158 (+16) with rounds of 79 and 79.

Play at ASU Karsten Golf Course will resume at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday.
