TUCSON, Ariz. – University of Arizona women's golf earned a fourth-place finish at the Windy City Collegiate Classic on Tuesday. Northwestern hosted the event at Westmoreland Country Club (6,291 yards, par 72).
USC won the team race with an 876 (+12). Northwestern finished second with an 879 (+15). Iowa State rounded out the top three with an 888 (+24). Arizona finished fourth with an 891 (+27). The Wildcats carded rounds of 300, 294, and 297. Trojan Annie Park won the individual medal with a 211 (-5).
Senior Manon Gidali finished in a six-way tie for 13th place. Her rounds of 71, 73 and 77 were good for a score of 221 (+5). Junior Lindsey Weaver finished in a tie for 21st place. She scored a 223 (+7) with rounds of 76, 73 and 74.
Freshman Krystal Quihuis finished in a four-way tie for 27th place. She shot rounds of 78, 73 and 74 for a total of 225 (+9). Sophomore Wanasa Zhou finished in a five-way tie for 32nd place. She carded a 227 (+11) with rounds of 77, 75 and 75. Senior Kendall Prince finished in a four-way tie for 37th with her score of 228 (+12) and rounds of 76, 78 and 74.
Arizona will play next at the Landfall Tradition, hosted by UNCW, October 24-26. The three-day, 54-hole tournament will be held at The Country Club of Landfall.
