Q: Who is your favorite gymnast?
A: Shawn Johnson!
Q: What is your favorite event and why?
A: Floor has recently become my favorite event. I love the powerful feel of tumbling, and the sassiness of the dancing.
Q: What made U of A stand out when you were being recruited?
A: The weather and the scenery of the campus are what stood out to me most. I am from Oklahoma, which might possibly be the flattest place in the world. The mountains in Tucson still amaze me even though I have lived here for almost three years.
Q: What is fun and special about collegiate gymnastics?
A: When I was in club, I was the only level 10 in my gym. I did not have a team to compete with, so I was used to doing gymnastics for myself. The team aspect in college gymnastics is unlike any other experience. I can honestly say that my teammates are my best friends, and I look forward to seeing them everyday. I know the bond that we have will last a lifetime.
Q: What club did you used to compete with?
A: Krafft Academy of Gymnastics.
Q: Who is your celebrity crush?
A: Ashton Irwin, the drummer from the band 5 Seconds of Summer.
Q: What's your dream job after college?
A: I'm currently studying finance, so I plan on doing something with that after school, but if I could pick any job in the world, I would be a musician. It is my passion aside from gymnastics.
Q: What's a random fact about you?
A: Last year we were in Ohio for a competition, and I randomly decided to become an ordained minister via the Internet (yes, it's possible), so now I can legally perform wedding ceremonies.
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world where would you want to go and why?
A: I have always really wanted to visit Australia.
Q: If you could be any animal what would you be and why?
A: I would be a koala bear because they are cute, but also really vicious.
Q: What are your hobbies outside of gymnastics?
A: My hobbies include anything involving music. Whether that is listening to it, going to concerts, playing it, or writing it.?
Q: If you weren't doing gymnastics what sport would you want to play?
A: I would probably played soccer! I played it and I loved it up until I was 8, but I had to choose between soccer and gymnastics, and I obviously loved gymnastics more!
Q: If you could have any superpower what would it be?
A: I would want to be able to control time
