Q: Who is your favorite gymnast?
A: Nastia, I have always admired her beautiful dance and lines while she did her gymnastics. That is something you don't see in the sport very often. I was very lucky to be able to watch her in the gym as I grew up.
Q: What is your favorite event and why?
A: Beam has been my favorite event since I started gymnastics; it just comes so naturally to me. I love the feeling you get when you nail a skill on beam. There is nothing else like it.
Q: What made U of A stand out when you were being recruited?
A: The family aspect of the team. Moving away from my family for the first time I wanted to make sure I felt at home and I knew I was going to achieve that here at the U of A.
Q: What is fun and special about collegiate gymnastics?
A: I love traveling to away meets with my teammates. We are all so close that it really is just a big family trip. I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to make such amazing memories with all of my best friends.
Q: What club did you used to compete with?
A: WOGA
Q: Who is your celebrity crush? ?
A: I can honestly say I do not have a celebrity crush. If I had to choose someone it would be Joe Manganiello!
Q: What's your dream job after college?
A: My dream job is marriage counseling.
Q: What's a random fact about you?
A: I didn't fall off the balance beam at a meet until I was a level 8.
Q: If you could be any animal what would you be and why?
A: A dog. They are always so happy and love everyone they meet unconditionally. I think that would be a pretty awesome way to live.
Q: What are your hobbies outside of gymnastics?
A: I have a 7 month old chow chow puppy that takes up almost all my free time outside of gymnastics. I also enjoy drawing and just relaxing with my friends when I get the time to.
Q: If you weren't doing gymnastics what sport would you want to play?
A: I would have loved to be a dancer. I love dancing on floor and helping teammates out with choreography so I think I would have really enjoyed dancing. They are always so passionate through their dance and it is so beautiful to watch.
Q: If you could have any superpower what would it be?
A: I would love to teleport. It would be awesome to be able to go wherever you want.
