TUCSON, Ariz. – University of Arizona women's moves up from seventh to fourth place after completing the second round of the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge. The Wildcats posted a score of 292 (+8). With round one's score of 296 (+12), Arizona moves to +20 heading into the final round.
Sophomore Wanasa Zhou led the Wildcats in round two with a 72 (+1). Senior Kendall Prince and freshman Krystal Quihuis both shot a 73 (+2). Quihuis maintains her position as sixth place overall.
Junior Lindsey Weaver finished the round with a 74 (+3), followed by senior Manon Gidali with a 75 (+4).
Baylor continues to lead the tournament after finishing the round with a 289 (+5). No. 4 USC moves up a spot to second place after a round of 292 (+8). Arizona State rounds out the top three after posting a score of 299 (+15).
Competition will conclude on Tuesday with a shotgun start at 8:30 PST/9:30 MST.
