No. 15 Bruins Outlast Wildcats on Friday

LOS ANGELES---- Fifteenth ranked UCLA proved to be too much for Arizona, as the Bruins defeated the Wildcats 4-0 out at the Los Angeles Tennis Center, Friday afternoon in Los Angeles.
UCLA (12-6, 3-0 Pac-12) jumped out to a 1-0 lead after taking the doubles point. Dennis Mlkrtchian and Austin Rapp outlasted Matt Dunn and Jason Jaruvang 6-2 on court three, while the seventh-ranked tandem in the nation in Mackenzie McDonald and Martin Redlicki also notched a 6-2 win over Shoki Kasahara and David Mushayev.
Trevor James and Sumeet Shinde held a 5-2 advantage over Joseph Di Giulio Karue Sell on court two before the match was stopped to due to the match being clinched.
The Bruins extended their lead to 2-0 after No. 26 Mlkrtchian earned a 6-0, 6-2 win over Jaruvang on court three.
Kasahara then gave Rapp all he could handle on court five, nearly forcing a third and deciding set, but unfortunately fell 6-0, 6-4, putting the Cats in a 3-0 hole.
No. 121 Redlicki then defeated David Mushayev 6-2, 6-3 from the No. 2 position to clinch the 4-0 victory.
The Wildcats (8-14, 0-3 Pac-12) will try and rebound, when they take on No. 7 USC, tomorrow at 1 pm PT out at Marks Stadium
