
Arizona Welcomes Transfer Katarina Schulz

TUCSON, Ariz. – The Arizona sand volleyball team welcomes transfer graduate Katarina Schulz to the 2015-2016 roster. Schulz received her undergraduate degree from University of the Pacific this summer in health and exercise sports science and will start graduate school this fall at UA.
“In her time at Pacific, Katarina played at a very high level for both their indoor and sand volleyball programs,” said Coach Steve Walker. “Without question she will carry with her a wealth of experience and physicality to our program.“
Katarina qualified for the pairs AVCA National championship in just her second season with the Pacific sand team and has played and beaten some of the best sand teams around the country.
“I look forward to having a person and player like Katarina, an Arizona high school product, back in state and competing for the Wildcats this year,” Walker said.
Arizona Wildcats have added seven signees to its roster for this upcoming season. The sand cats will play one out of season fall competition at Huntington Beach on October 24, 2015. This event is an opening event featuring a number of other colleges and universities, along with high level adult players. Catch the cats this spring on the sand at their season opener this spring.
