"The NCI is a special tournament for our program," commented head men's golf coach Jim Anderson. "Besides competing at a PGA Tour site against other top programs, we are provided an experience unmatched in College Golf.  Our friends at Nike do everything to make sure the athletes experience a first class event and a week that no one will forget.  We had another very competitive week of practice and our team is playing very well.  We know the scores we shoot at home don't guarantee success on the road, but our confidence in each other and the squad is on a consistent rise.  We are going to put it all together soon as this team is very excited to compete and play a great course."
Colonial Country Club, just steps from TCU's campus, plays as a 7,209 yard par-70 course. The Dean & DeLuca Invitational, the longest running non-major PGA Tour event held at the same site, is played every May at Colonial Country Club. The course has also hosted the 1941 U.S. Open and the 1991 U.S. Women's Open.
