Arizona Gymnastics 2017 Official Schedule

TUCSON, ARIZ – The Pac-12 Networks' winter sport competition schedule for the 2017 year has been released. Arizona Gymnastics is excited to announce five home meets and seven Pac-12 televised meets this upcoming season.
"We are looking forward to an exciting 2017 season," said head coach Tabitha Yim. "The GymCats kick-off the year at home with a tri-meet against Utah State and Texas Women's University and are thrilled to bring a competitive home slate to Tucson. We face off against strong teams in the Pac-12 conference and have competitive match-ups on the road against Maryland, BYU, and Big-10 Champions, Minnesota."
The GymCats will begin their 2017 season on January 6th at home against Utah State and Texas Women's University. This starts off an exciting home season where Arizona will face Iowa State (Jan. 21st), Oregon State (Feb. 4th), and California (Feb. 10th). The team will celebrate their three seniors, Gabrielle Laub, Krysten Howard, and Selynna Felix-Terrazas in their final home meet of the season on March 5th against in-state rival, Arizona State University.
The Wildcats will hit the road to face off against Maryland, Minnesota, and Alaska (Jan. 14th), Stanford (Jan. 29th), Washington (Feb. 19th), UCLA (Feb. 25th), and BYU (March 10th).
The GymCats have ten returning athletes contributing 16 routines from last season's championship meets and are excited to introduce their six incoming freshmen, Jenny Leung, Christina Berg, Heather Swanson, Shannon Farrell, Courtney Cowles, and Maddi Leydin.
NCAA Regionals will be held on April 1st at college campuses in six cities: Seattle, WA, Fayetteville, AR, Champaign, IL, Lincoln, NE, Morgantown, WV, and Gainesville, FL. The 2017 NCAA National Championship will be held in the Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, Missouri on April 14-16th.
Season tickets for the 2017 season are on sale now through the University of Arizona Ticket Office.
Fans will have an opportunity to get to know their 2017 GymCats in action at their annual Meet the Team on Sunday, December 4th. Admission to the event will be free.
