What did you accomplish at Arizona as a GymCat?
My biggest accomplishment as a GymCat was getting the opportunity to be on the team and contributing anywhere I could. My dream was always to compete for a D1 program and I am so proud that I was able to.

What have you been up to since Graduation?
Since graduation I have been working as a comprehensive advisor and personal financial coach. Right after I graduated, I interned with the firm North Star Resource Group, and I loved it. I spent the next 9 months passing my licensing exams (Insurance, series 66 and 7). Since this past April, I've been making new relationships with clients I can really add value to, and doing my best to help them get organized and hold them accountable so they can reach their financial goals, whatever they may be.

How do you feel Arizona helped you grow as a person?
My growth at Arizona was contributed to me being able to have the opportunity to compete at the collegiate level and contribute to the Arizona gymnastics program. Proving to myself that I could come back and have an impact made me more confident in my ability to do anything I put my mind to.

Are you still involved in gymnastics? What do you miss most about the University of Arizona?
Currently I'm not involved in gymnastics but I am looking for any opportunities to coach and be involved with the sport. I miss being in the gym and I love seeing my teammates become so successful. I would love to coach a team on the weekends and be a part of another little girl's success.

What about Arizona stood out to you while being recruited?
My road to being on the gymnastics team was a little bit different than most. After an injury in high school, I had quit the sport for a few years and went to Arizona as a normal student. After being a manager for a year, I really wanted to give myself another shot and the only reason I was able to do that was because of the support and love the team and coaches gave me. I wouldn't have been able to do it without them.

What do you miss most about being a student athlete?
I miss being around the team every day. We take for granted the love and support we get throughout our careers and in the real world it's not always a team mentality. I miss seeing the people around me do well and encouraging them to be the best they can be.

What are some of your favorite memories at Arizona with the GymCats?
My favorite memory from my time at Arizona was my senior meet and the meets leading up to that. We were all so close and in sync that year, and my senior meet is something I'll never forget.

What advice would you give to the current GymCats?
My advice to current gym cats would be to invest in your teammates and take care of each other. Pre-season is tough and the season is long. Don't forget to be there for each other and encourage when you can or kick someone in the butt if they need to be pushed a little more.
