How old were you when you started gymnastics?
I was 10 years old when I started gymnastics.
What is your favorite event and why?
My favorite event is uneven bars because I love the feeling of flying and it has always been my best event.
What is fun and special about collegiate gymnastics?
Being a collegiate athlete is special and fun because you get the opportunity to be apart of something big and adventurous. Practicing, traveling, and competing is such a privilege, and I will be forever grateful for this opportunity.
What made U of A stand out when you were being recruited?
Ever since I started gymnastics I've always wanted to attend the University of Arizona. I would go to Arizona gymnastics meets and I wanted to know what it was like to be on the floor with those girls, so of course when the opportunity came to join the team there was no question in my decision.
Who is your favorite professional athlete and why?
My favorite professional athlete is Shawn Johnson because she's so powerful and strong. Her gymnastics was always so inspiring to me.
What is your dream job after college?
My dream job after college is to work as an FBI agent.
Do you have any siblings?
I have one older brother, he's 23 years old and is a flight attendant. He's always traveling and gets to see the world so he's definitely enjoying himself.
Who is your celebrity crush?
Chris Hemsworth
What is a hobby you have outside of gymnastics?
I love sleeping, I take record naps of five hours!
What is your favorite GymCat memory?
It was an absolutely amazing experience to get our new locker room this year, as a team we were so excited!
