Arizona Gymnastics Looks Strong for 2017 Season

TUCSON, AZ -- Arizona Gymnastics had over 600 people attend their GymCat Showcase this afternoon. Fans got a sneak peek into the routines for the 2017 season, and the GymCats showed consistency across all four events tallying eight "Arizona Sticks!" In a match style competition, the athletes went head-to-head with six gymnasts performing on each apparatus. The event helped prepare the team for their upcoming season starting with their home opener on January 6th against Texas Women's University and Utah State.
"We love getting in front of our Tucson crowd and appreciate all the fans, staff, celebrity judges, and volunteers who came out to support the team today," said head coach Tabitha Yim. "We have a lot of new faces and routines on the roster, and it was great to give everyone experience out on the competition floor. We look forward to continuing to grow and develop as we prepare for our first home meet in January!"
