- The Wildcats are coming off a home sweep of California and Stanford in the final week of the regular season. UA used 19 second-half points from Gabe York to fuel an 11-0 run in the final two minutes to defeat California 64-61. York was again the catalyst for UA in its 94-62 victory over California. The senior tied a McKale Center record with nine made three-pointers as his team went on to connect on a team-record 18 shots from beyond the arc.

- UA finished the regular season with six conference losses. Arizona has avenged three of those defeats by downing UCLA, USC and California in the second meetings of the season. The other three league losses, to Oregon, Colorado and Utah, happened in Arizona's only regular-season meeting with those programs.
- Guard Kadeem Allen returned to the starting lineup in the final two games of Pac-12 play after battling an illness in the previous two weeks. Allen finished the week with 12 assists and just 1 turnover against Cal and Stanford. The junior had tallied 12 assists and 12 turnovers in the seven games prior to his starts against the Bay schools.
- Head coach Sean Miller wrapped up his seventh regular season with Arizona with a combined record of 91-35 in conference games. That 72.2 winning percentage in Pac-12 play is the fourth highest in the history of the conference for coaches with more than six seasons in the league. Miller trails only John Wooden (.810), Lute Olson (.764) and Jim Harrick (.743) in that statistic.
