Witt Twins Finish as Runner-Up in Pac-12 BVB Pairs Tourney

LOS ANGELES -- No. 6 Arizona's top pair and second-seeded Madison and McKenna Witt fell to USC's Kelly Claes and Sara Hughes in the finals of the Pairs Bracket at the Pac-12 Beach Volleyball Championships on Friday morning in Los Angeles, Calif. The Witts battled in a competitive match but dropped both sets 22-20.
Earlier in the day, the Witts advanced to the championship match after a 21-17, 21-15 victory over UCLA's McNamara twins.
The Witts reached the semifinals after wins over Oregon (21-15, 21-15) and Washington (21-15, 21-15) on Thursday.
Team Bracket play will begin on Friday afternoon at 5 p.m. MST when No. 3 Arizona will face No. 6 Stanford.
