Women's Golf Sets Schedule for 2016-17

TUCSON, Ariz. – The 2016 season was a successful gambit for the Arizona women's golf team. The Wildcats finished their season at the NCAA Championships in a tie for ninth place. Additionally, the team earned two team championships – one coming at their home tournament – and Krystal Quihuis earned the team's sole individual championship.
The season finished with some fireworks, as the team's true freshman Haley Moore took home the runner-up spot at the NCAA Championships after carding two 68's (-4) in the competition. The team has said good-bye to its lone senior, Lindsey Weaver, meaning the Wildcats expect to have seven returning golfers and one newcomer, Sandra Nordaas from Norway, come the regular season.
Now, the team has set their schedule for the upcoming 2016-17 season, when they will be hosting one tournament and traveling to nine other regular season competitions.
