TUCSON, Ariz. -- The 10th-ranked Arizona women's golf team begins its fall season today with play at the Branch Law Firm/Dick McGuire Invitational in Albuquerque, N.M. Hosted by the University of New Mexico, the teams will play 36 holes on Monday and 18 on Tuesday at the UNM Championship Golf Course.
The fifteen teams slated to compete are: Arizona, Arizona State, Baylor, Colorado, Denver, Iowa State, Northwestern, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Pepperdine, San Diego State, UC Berkeley, UC Davis, UNLV, Washington State.Â

Jessica Vasilic and
Wanasa Zhou will take a leading role in this tournament and all season. They're joined by junior
Krystal Quihuis, sophomore
Haley Moore and the Wildcats' lone freshman
Sandra Nordaas from Norway in the lineup.

Last season, the Cats finished fourth at the Pac-12 Championships before tying for ninth at the NCAA Championships.
