How old were you when you started gymnastics?
I was 4 when I started gymnastics.
What is your favorite event and why?
My favorite event is bars because I love the challenge it brings. It requires you to use every muscle in your body and a great amount of focus. I also love being able to learn different release moves and skills. Bars has always come easy to me and I have loved it since I started gymnastics.
What is fun and special about collegiate gymnastics?
Being a part of such a supportive and loving team is definitely what makes collegiate gymnastics special. Club is based on more of individual successes, but in college everything is based off your team. Whether you have a good or bad turn in the gym your teammates and coaches are always supporting and cheering for you.
What made U of A stand out when you were being recruited?
Tabitha, John, and David made me feel extremely special and I felt a strong bond with them from the start. The coaches care for the athlete's success in the gym, classroom, and social life which is very important. The warm weather, beautiful campus, and amazing facilities were also a plus.
Who is your favorite professional athlete and why?
My favorite professional athlete is Aly Raisman. She combines power and beauty in her gymnastics and that's very hard to do. I also admire her insanely difficult floor routine. She always has a positive attitude and is very fun to watch compete.
What is your dream job after college?
I would really love to become a pharmacist after college. Working in the medical field and helping people is something I look forward to doing.
Do you have any siblings?
I have a brother (Brett, 29) and two sisters (Jackie, 26) and (Gina, 24)
Who is your celebrity crush?
My celebrity crush is Zac Efron.
What is a hobby you have outside of gymnastics?
Outside of gymnastics I enjoying watching Netflix, hanging out with friends, and going to the pool.
What is your favorite gymnastics memory?
My favorite gymnastics memory is tearing up when I finished my last JO Nationals ever. It was such a great feeling to have accomplished my goals for the season and just knowing that college was so close.
