Arizona Commit to Play in LPGA Event

Yu-Sang Hou will compete as an amateur in the Swinging Skirts LPGA Taiwan Championship Presented by CTBC on Oct. 19-20. Hou is the 82nd ranked amateur according the World Amateur Golf Rankings, and will join the Wildcat team for the spring season.
Hou tees off on Thursday morning at 8:15 local time alongside Alena Sharp and Sun Young Yoo. The event boasts a strong field which includes six of the top ten ranked players in the Women's Golf World Rankings.
The tournament takes place at Miramar Golf Country Club in Hou's hometown of Taipei, Taiwan. Hou is one of six amateurs competing in the event, and coverage of the tournament will be broadcast on the Golf Channel for all four days of the event.
Hou has competed as an amateur in numerous events all around the world including the United States, Japan, Chinese Taipei, Philippines, South Korea, and Australia. In 2016, Hou competed in the US Women's Open Championship at CordeValle Golf Club in San Martin, Calif., as well as the US Girls Junior Championship at The Ridgewood CC in Paramus, New Jersey.
