Moore Finishes Fifth at Windy City Collegiate

The University of Arizona women's golf team completed the final round of play at the Windy City Collegiate on Tuesday at Northmoor Country Club in Highland Park, Ill.
The Cats shot 293 (+9) in the third round of play to finish in sixth place at 873 (+21) for the tournament. Junior Haley Moore earned a fifth place finish at 2-under par after shooting an even par round of 71 in her final round. This is Moore's second Top-5 finish of the season after she won the Golfweek Conference Challenge last week in Wolcott, Colo.
Junior Gigi Stoll finished the tournament at 8-over par after carding a round of 77 (+6) on the day and earning a tie for 28th place. Senior Krystal Quihuis carded a round of 74 (+3) to finish the tournament at 9-over par and in a tie for 32nd place. Freshman Cecilie Bofill scored her lowest tournament score at 225 (+12) and in a tie for 50th place. Junior Bianca Pagdanganan tied for 65th place after posting a round of 73 (+1) and ending the tournament at 19-over par.
Arizona State won the tournament at 1-over par, three strokes ahead of second place Oklahoma State. Maddie McCrary of Oklahoma State won the individual competition at 6-under par.
The Wildcats will next travel to Hawaii for the Nanea Pac-12 Preview Oct. 22-24 at Nanea Golf Club in the final event of the fall season.
