How old were you when you started gymnastics?
I was three years old when I began gymnastics, but started competing when I was 5.
What is your favorite event and why?
My favorite event to train is bars but my favorite event to compete is floor! I love bars because it has always come easy to me and it is so exhilarating. However, college has really made me enjoy competing floor because it is so fun and you get to show a lot of personality.
What is fun and special about collegiate gymnastics?
Traveling around the country to different competitions is a lot of fun! It is awesome to travel to many cities alongside your best friends. Also, being able to cheer and hug each other after a good routine is tons of fun!
What made U of A stand out when you were being recruited?
U of A really stood out to me because of the beautiful facilities, campus, and warm weather. I really meshed well with the team and coaches!
What is your dream job after college?
I would love to become a physician's assistant back home in Chicago!
Do you have any siblings?
Yes! I have a brother, Brett & two sisters, Jackie and Gina. They are all great role models and I wouldn't be where I am today without their support!
Who is your celebrity crush?
Theo James or really any character on Grey's Anatomy.
What is a hobby you have outside of gymnastics?
I really enjoy watching Netflix, going to the pool, doing yoga with teammates, and just hanging out with friends!
What is your favorite GymCat memory thus far?
My favorite GymCat memory so far is competing in McKale for the first time. It was so surreal and I was so excited and happy to get to perform in front of a large crowd!
