Cats Travel to Glendale for Fall Exhibition Match Round 2 Hosted by Grand Canyon

The Cats will participate in their second Fall Exhibition Match this upcoming weekend: Nov. 4 and Nov. 5 in Glendale. Grand Canyon will be hosting Arizona in addition to No. 5 UCLA and No. 1 USC.
Match play will include best 2/3 sets with 7 courts available. All four teams will compete on Day 1 and Day 2 will consist of Arizona and GCU match play.
This will be the Sand Cats' second time this off-season competing against GCU. The Arizona coaching staff looks forward to a successful weekend. "With all of our Fall competitions, I'm less concerned about the opponent," Head Coach Steve Walker comments.
He continues, "For me and our players it's really nameless and faceless opposition and really a chance for us to see where we are with regard to our skills, specifically our passing and our setting and a new system defensively that we're trying to implement. That's all we're concerned with and allowing our newcomers to get their feet wet as we move through the course of the Fall."
