How old were you when you started gymnastics?
I was two when I started gymnastics.
What is your favorite event and why?
My favorite event is floor, because I love smiling and showing off my routine.
What is fun and special about collegiate gymnastics?
Collegiate gymnastics is so fun, because every day we get to work together as team doing a sport that is usually individual. There's nothing more exciting than watching a teammate succeed.
What made U of A stand out when you were being recruited?
I was a Wildcat in high school and I thought it would be fun to say "Once a Wildcat, always a Wildcat." The amazing facilities, campus, and weather were also a plus!
Who is your favorite professional athlete and why?
Aly Raisman, because she's been to the Olympics for gymnastics twice and she's still not done with gymnastics.
What is your dream job after college?
To work for a big 4 accounting firm, or work at Nike.
Do you have any siblings?
I have an older brother, Ryan.
Who is your celebrity crush?
The brothers in "The Vampire Diaries", Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley.
What is a hobby you have outside of gymnastics?
Doing Yoga!
What is your favorite GymCat memory thus far?
One of my favorite GymCat memories was this year when we got to learn Krav Maga (self-defense) as a team. It was so fun to do something different as a team and learn how to defend ourselves.
