TUCSON, Ariz.: Allonzo Trier scored 22 points while Deandre Ayton posted a double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds as the No. 3 Arizona Wildcats defeated Chico State 91-53 on Sunday night.

The Cats shot 65% from the field and 53% from three, while dishing out 21 assists on 32 made field goals. Nine different Wildcats scored on the night with senior Parker Jackson-Cartwright controlling the game, scoring 14 points with four assists and zero turnovers.

Freshman Emmanuel Akot played an all-around game with six points, seven rebounds, six assists, and two blocks as he earned the start in the tonight's ballgame.

The Cats defense stifled Chico State holding them to only 36% shooting from the field. Arizona dominated the glass, outrebounding Chico State 39-22.

Arizona led from the opening tip, racing out to a 13-0 margin and never looking back, winning the game by 39 points.
