Social Media Year in Review: Beach Volleyball

2017 was good to the Sand Cats as it brung many deserving awards, a few sweeps, and we cannot forget the beautiful Arizona sunsets. The season came with great competition and ended with the Cats hosting the Pac-12 Beach Volleyball Championships for the very first time. Check out some of our Beach Volleyball highlights from this year below!
1. To start the year off right, the Sand Cats were ranked in the top 10 in the pre season. Your Wildcats took the No. 6 spot in the AVCA Poll.

2. There's nothing like a sweet victory against our rivals. In the ASU Tournament, the Cats won 3-2 against the home team. Not only did they win the tournament 3-0, but they walked away with a new overall record of 4-2. Bear Down.

3. The Arizona Wildcats had the pleasure of hosting the Pac-12 Beach Volleyball Championships. This was beach volleyball's second year participating in the Pac-12 Championships; the tweet brought 23.6K Impressions.

4. Now Arizona Alum, but always a part of our family, Madison Witt and McKenna Witt earned yet another All-American Honorable Mention. These girls just won't quit! What a great way to keep the Wildcat name strong.

5. The Witt twins strike again in the Pac-12 Championships where they remained undefeated in their pool. The tweet gained over 40.7K impressions.

6. Throwback to when the Cats' hard work paid off bringing them to an overall team GPA of 3.48. This is was their best Spring record to date!
