  • Arizona heads to the state of Oregon this week following a home sweep of the Washington schools, bookended by UA's 77-66 victory over the Washington Huskies on Sunday, Jan. 29. Senior Kadeem Allen led the Wildcats with 14 points while grabbing six rebounds and dishing out five assists in the win. Allen was part of a balanced offensive attack that saw four other Wildcats score 12 or 13 points. The win gave UA a perfect 8-0 record in the month of January. It was the second time in the Miller era the Cats have gone undefeated in January and just the third time in the last 20 seasons of Arizona Basketball.
  • Lauri Markkanen hit the turn of Pac-12 play as Arizona's leading scorer and rebounder at 17.8 points and 8.0 rebounds per conference game. The freshman did so while shooting 59.3 percent from the field, 60.0 percent from beyond the arc and 86.2 percent at the free throw line. He is the only player in the conference to rank in the top ten in scoring, rebounding, field goal percentage, free throw percentage and three-point field goal percentage during conference play.
  • Arizona hits the turn of conference play riding a 14-game win streak, which is the third longest in the nation behind Gonzaga (22) and New Mexico State (19). Trailing the Wildcats are Cincinnati and Belmont with 12 consecutive wins apiece entering this week.
  • Head coach Sean Miller earned his 100th Pac-12 win in Sunday's victory over Washington. The win came in his 135th conference game at the helm of the program, winning 74.1 percent of his Pac-12 games en route to the 100th win.
  • The Wildcats' 9-0 start to conference play is tied for the third-best start in program history, matching the 1987-88 team. Arizona won its first 16 conference games during the 1997-98 season and its first 14 in 1992-93.
  • UA will look to reverse some recent history in Corvallis. Arizona has just two wins in its last five games in Gill Coliseum. The last time the two teams met in Corvallis, No. 7 Arizona lost 56-58 on Jan. 11, 2015. In those five games in Corvallis, the average margin of victory has been 4.2 points. That also means no player on the current Arizona roster has ever won a game inside Gill Coliseum.
