  • The Wildcats will leave the state of Arizona for the last time this regular season when they travel to Washington State and Washington on Thursday and Saturday. UA defeated both teams at McKale Center last month by a total 28 points. Arizona is 8-4 in the state of Washington under Sean Miller after earning road sweeps there in 2012-13, 2014-15 and 2015-16.
  • Last week saw UA defeat both of the Bay Area schools in Tucson, scoring a 74-67 victory over Stanford before earning a 62-57 win over Cal. Kobi Simmons led the Wildcats in scoring with 13 points in Saturday's win versus the Golden Bears. The freshman's 13 points against Cal came after scoring a total of 11 points in his two previous games. The Arizona defense held Cal's Ivan Rabb to just four points and three rebounds in 26 minutes. Rabb entered the game averaging 15.7 points and 12.3 rebounds per game in conference play.
  • Chance Comanche matched his career-high for scoring in back-to-back games with 19 points in the wins over Stanford and California. Comanche averaged 9.5 points, 5.5 rebounds per game while shooting 81.8 percent (9 of 11) at the foul line last week.
  • UA has won its last 11 games versus the Washington State Cougars with an average margin of victory 17.1 points per game during the streak. The 11 consecutive wins give Arizona it's second-longest active winning streak versus a Pac-12 opponent, trailing its 15-game winning streak against Stanford.
  • Allonzo Trier has been nearly automatic at the foul line in his last four games with a free throw percentage of 88.0 percent on 22 of 25 shooting. The sophomore missed his last free throw of the Cal game, which snapped a streak of 18 consecutive made free throws.
  • Arizona's all-time record of 62-16 (.795) versus Washington State is the program's highest winning percentage against any Pac-12 school.
  • Arizona currently ranks in the top three of the Pac-12 (in all games) in a trio of key defensive statistical categories, including scoring defense (2nd – 63.5 ppg), field goal percentage defense (3rd – 41.1 percent) and three-point field goal percentage defense (2nd – 30.9 percent). UA is on pace to finish in the top three of the conference in all three categories for a third consecutive season and for a fourth time in five seasons. Both of which are feats no other Pac-12 school can accomplish.
  • The Wildcats are 97-18 (.843) when ranked in the top ten of the AP Poll since the start of 2012-13 season. That record includes a mark of 10-2 (.833) this season when ranked in the top ten.
  • UA's mark of 6-1 (.857) in true road games this season is the high winning percentage in the Pac-12, edging USC's and UCLA's marks of 6-2 (.750). The Wildcats' one loss on the road makes them one of seven programs in the nation to have one or fewer losses on the road this year. Included in that distinction are Gonzaga (8-0), Saint Mary's (8-1), Wichita State (8-1), Kansas (7-1), Creighton (7-1) and Maryland (6-1) as of Tuesday morning.
