  • Arizona enters Saturday's game with the Huskies riding a seven-game winning streak against Washington, which ties for the fourth longest active winning streak between two Pac-12 programs. UA's average margin of victory in its last seven wins against UW is 14.7 points per game.
  • The Wildcats' win over Washington State on Thursday was their third in a row and 18th victory in their last 19 games going back to the first week of December. UA's Pac-12 record stands at 13-1, which is a one-win improvement from last season with four games left in the conference season.
  • UA's 78-59 win in Pullman earlier this week was fueled by Parker Jackson-Cartwright's career-high 20 points (four of five from beyond the arc) as he started in place of the injured Kadeem Allen. Jackson-Cartwright was supported by Lauri Markkanen's fourth double-double of the season as the freshman tallied 19 points and 11 rebounds versus the Cougars. Sophomore Allonzo Trier also set a career-best mark of 12 rebounds versus WSU.
  • Point guard Parker Jackson-Cartwright's career high of 20 points came on an efficient five of seven shooting from the field as the junior snapped out of a scoring cold spell. He had scored a total of 22 points in the nine games prior to Thursday, shooting 8/22 (36.3 percent) from the field in those nine games.
  • Arizona's nine turnovers in Pullman on Thursday was just the third time in the last 12 games the team has committed fewer than ten turnovers. The Cats are 7-0 in single-digit turnover games this season and have won 20 of their last 21 single-digit turnover games going back to January of 2015. UA is 46-10 (.821) when committing fewer than ten turnovers in the Sean Miller era.
  • Freshman Lauri Markkanen broke out of an offensive slump in his team's 19-point win over Washington State. Markkanen scored 19 points while shooting 7 of 13 (.538) from the field and connecting on all four of his free throw attempts. In his six games prior, the Finland native was averaging 7.6 points per game while shooting 27.3 percent from the field (9 of 23 FG's).
  • Allonzo Trier's career night on the glass at Washington State yielded 12 rebounds, all of which were defensive. They were the most defensive rebounds by a UA guard in the Sean Miller era (2009-10 to present), eclipsing Kyle Fogg's 11 defensive rebounds versus USC on Feb. 23, 2012. A Wildcat guard has not grabbed 12 or more defensive rebounds in a game in at least 20 seasons.
