  • Arizona returns to Tucson following a road split in the state of Oregon. The Wildcats defeated the Beavers 71-54 on Thursday before dropping a 58-85 decision to the Ducks in Eugene. Oregon hit 15 of their first 20 three-pointers as a team. The loss snapped Arizona's 15-game win streak, which was tied for the fourth-longest winning streak in program history.
  • Freshman Rawle Alkins played one of the best games of his season versus Oregon. Alkins finished with 16 points, six rebounds, four assists, four steals and one block, which were all team highs or tied for team highs. Alkins doubled his previous best of two steals with four against the Ducks. His 7 of 11 shooting (.636) was his best of the season in a game with ten or more field goal attempts.
  • UA's perfect mark of 13-0 against Stanford under head coach Sean Miller, along with the win over the Cardinal in 2008-09, gives the Wildcats 14 consecutive wins over Stanford. It's the longest active win streak in the Pac-12 between two conference members.
  • The Wildcats enter Wednesday's game with an 18-game home winning streak, which is tied for the seventh longest active streak in the nation. UA has 67 wins in its last 68 games in McKale Center going back to the 2012-13 season. Under head coach Sean Miller, Arizona is 120-12 (.909) at home in all games and 60-8 (.882) in Pac-12 home games.
  • Lauri Markkanen's 48.7 percent shooting from beyond the arc this season has him on pace to break the Arizona all-time freshman record for three-point field goal percentage, but it would also tie him for fourth place in program history by any player. Markkanen would only trail the Wildcats to shoot better than 50.0 percent from deep (minimum 40 attempts) in a season in Steve Kerr (.573 in 1987-88), Derrick Williams (.568 in 2010-11) and Salim Stoudamire (.504 in 2004-05).
  • Arizona is 41-15 (.732) in games following a loss since Sean Miller's arrival in Tucson prior to the 2009-10 season. That record stands at 18-6 (.750) since the start of the 2012-13. UA's mark when playing a home game following a loss during that span is 21-4 (.840).
  • The UA offense has seen an uptick in efficacy inside the friendly confines of McKale Center versus away from Tucson. The Cats are shooting 5.1 percent higher from the field (50.1 percent) at home with 190 assists to 140 turnovers (1.36 assist-to-turnover ratio). Away from home, the team's assist numbers are 143 assists to 146 turnovers (0.98 assist-to-turnover ratio).
  • Wednesday's meeting with the Cardinal snaps a streak of three consecutive years of Stanford being Arizona's opponent on Senior Day.
  • Kadeem Allen is only averaging 5.7 points and 2.0 rebounds per game in his three career appearances versus Stanford. Allen has posted 14 assists to five turnovers (2.8 assist-to-turnover ratio) in the three victories over the Cardinal.
